Madonna Set To Perform At Super Bowl XLVI [VIDEO]

The announcement was made last night during the Saints-Lions game on NBC that Madonna would be headlining the halftime show at Super Bowl XLVI this year.  It will be her first time performing at the event but was scheduled to play her song "American Pie" back in 2000 but had to cancel due to a scheduling conflict.  It looks like it'll be a spectacle to watch too because Madonna will be working with Cique du Soleil on the concept for the show.

Madonna is currently in the studio working on a new album but will take time out to perform at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on February 5th for Super Bowl XLVI.
