As the Tyler Azalea and Spring Flower Trail continues to bloom and bring in visitors to the Rose City this weekend, there will be one more thing that they can enjoy while visiting Tyler and that's the Main Street Flower Market. This year marks the fifth year for the event and features a wide variety of gardening items for sale.

The Main Street Flower Market will be open Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is being held at the Goodman-LeGrand Museum at 624 N. Broadway. The flower market features eighteen vendors selling azaleas, wind chimes, bird houses, trees, roses, hanging baskets, garden decor and more. Beverly Abell of the City of Tyler's Main Street Department says,

We're fond of saying that at the Flower Market, you can find just about anything for, from or related to the garden." (City Of Tyler press release)

City representatives will also be at the flower market discussing the Mayor's Tree Tyler Initiative, a program aimed at increasing the presence of trees within the city of Tyler.
