This has been the best Major League Baseball World Series we've seen in years.

Not because the Houston Astros are on the verge of their first championship, but because the games have been full of pitching duels, exciting plays and back and forth action we haven't seen in a while in baseball.

Game 5 of the World Series in Houston Sunday night ended just after midnight with the Astros winning 13-12 in the 10th inning, the second extra innings game of the series.

It's no wonder some fans may have a hard time at work or school today.

Don't worry, Major League Baseball has you covered. They tweeted out an excuse note to be used for Monday.

Houston Texans JJ Watt, who is out for the season after an injury, has some time on his hands now and is rooting on the Astros. He tweeted last night.

Trade deadline acquisition Justin Verlander, who will pitch Game 6 in Los Angeles, tweeted what the game did to him.

I wish this series could go 15 games. These two, Los Angeles Dodgers and Houston Astros, have given us some excellent World Series play.

Game 6 is Tuesday night in L.A. with Justin Verlander on the mound for Houston and Rich Hill pitching for Los Angeles on Fox. Verlander has been lights out this post season.

With a win, Houston would clinch their first World Series title in team history. Go Astros!
