A Nacogdoches man has been added to the Texas Department of Public Safety's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives List.

Jacob Aaron Kessler, 41, is wanted for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a child (X3), a first-degree felony. He was placed on the Texas Ten Most Wanted Fugitives List as of July 17.

He is described as a white male and is 5 feet 10 inches tall. He weighs approximately 215 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair, balding in front. Kessler is 41 years old.

He also has tattoos on both arms, back, and left ring finger. He has scars on his right knee and outside left eyebrow.

His last known address is in Nacogdoches, but he is believed to be on the run.

Kessler's Crimes

In 2011, Kessler was convicted of Sexual Assault of a Child and Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact following incidents with a 15-year-old girl and an 8-year-old girl, respectively. He was subsequently sentenced to 9 years' confinement for each offense, to be served concurrently.

On April 2, 2025, warrants were issued out of Nacogdoches County for his arrest for two (2) counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and one (1) count of Aggravated Sexual Assault.

As a convicted sex offender, Kessler is required to register every three months as a Registered Sex Offender.
