Over 2000 Americans from across the country were asked to reveal their preferred sleeping attire. From snoozing naked, to a full set of pajamas, and everything in between, it looks like Texans like a little more coverage than you might expect, given our soaring temperatures and cruddy air conditioning.

Here's how it breaks down:

People in Colorado, Georgia, Massachusets, Nevada, Oklahoma, and South Carolina are the most likely to go to bed totally naked. I think these guys have it all figured out. Sleeping in clothes totally sucks, unless, of course, there is an emergency in the middle of the night that might require you to exit your home in the nude. That would be bad...

Residents of California, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, New Jersey, and TEXAS, typically prefer to sleep in a t-shirt or tank top and a pair of shorts. Gym style, if you will. I guess there isn't really anything wrong with that, but I still stand by sleeping naked.

You're the most likely to find people wearing actual pajamas in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, and Pennsylvania. I don't even think I own an actual set of jammies. Who has time for that?

If your preferred sleepwear is more like Winnie The Pooh, with just a t-shirt and undies, you probably live in Connecticut, Georgia, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Utah, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Some people like to just rock a pair of undies, and the majority of those folks are living in Arizona, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennesse, Washington, and Wisconsin. I don't hate it, but it still ain't nakey.

And, last but not least, residents of Indiana surveyed say they are most likely to wear only shorts, which is a little bit confusing, but hey, I didn't come up with the study.

So...do with that information what you will. My suggestion? Get naked.
