In 2010, Sarah McLachlan promised that her Lilith tour -- the all-female traveling concert festival which she revived last summer after more than a decade -- would return for another round this year.  But it seems she's changed her mind.  She told Canada's Globe & Mail,

It's done.  And that's okay. It's actually a really good thing."

The Lilith revival tour was plagued by poor ticket sales and canceled dates, but Sarah says she considers it all a big learning experience.  She told the paper,

It's about learning more from our failures than our successes...bringing the same thing back last year didn't make any sense, in retrospect, without due diligence being done on how women have changed."

She added,

In 12 years, women have changed a lot...and that was not taken into consideration, which I blame myself for."

Calling the original Lilith "a beautiful organic event that happened at a point in time when it was really needed," Sarah told the paper, "I'm just excited about looking forward and thinking of carrying forth the ideas from Lilith and maybe doing something new and different."

Do you think another tour of this type will ever be created and be as successful as the original?
