Registration for Summer Camps Start May 2

Summertime is fast approaching. Do you need a place where your child can stay active and have fun? Look no further! The Glass Recreation Center is here for you!

The following is a lineup of camps offered at the Glass Recreation Center, located at 501 W. 32nd St.:

• Zumba Kids Camp: June 6 to 10 from 8 a.m. to noon for ages 8 to 12 at $50 per child;

• Glass Recreation Summer Day Camp: June 7 to Aug. 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for ages 6 to 12 at $50 per child for the ten-week program.

• The Summer Playground Program: June 7 to Aug. 5 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Free of charge at these participating parks: Pollard Park, Emmett Scott Park and City Park.

• Rose City Warrior Basketball Camp: June 13 to 17 from 8 to 10 a.m. for ages 6 to 8 and 10 a.m. to noon for ages 9 and older. $60 per child.

Registration for all summer camps begin on May 2.
