We talk all the time about how fortunate we are here in East Texas with so many amazing restaurants serving up large portions of food for a pretty good price. Longview is one of those cities where you can get whatever food you’re craving as they have something for everyone, although we always want more. And recently there were some locals discussing online what restaurant they would like to see open next.

It seems like in both Tyler and Longview people always seem to come back to some of the same suggestions such as Dave and Busters or The Cheesecake Factory. While I would love to see either or both of those big-name restaurants come to East Texas, I haven’t heard any rumors of that happening anytime soon. But we can always keep our fingers crossed, like getting a Bass Pro Shop in Tyler.  

Longview Residents Want More Food Variety 

It was interesting to see the suggestions that were made by Longview locals about the restaurants they would want to see open in their city. It wasn’t too much of the giant chain restaurants, in fact there were multiple suggestions of specific types of food they want available for purchase.
