Rita Ora may not have lasted as America's Next Top Model host, but her next chapter as pop star is just beginning.

Ora, whose last single "Coming Home" dropped in 2015, announced that a brand new track is set for release on May 26. And "Your Song," written by Steve Mac and Ed Sheeran, is already making waves among the singer's rabid fandom.

"Yes, you heard it right!" Ora noted in a short Twitter-video after making a face of absolute incredulity and laughing into the camera.

"'Your Song' has everything I wanted to express: it’s a song that’s full of positivity and about feeling on top of the world, like everything is going right and that’s where my life is right now," Ora said in a press release. "I loved working with Ed and Steve; it was incredible to really bring this idea to life with some of the most talented songwriters of our time. Ed and I have been friends since our teens, it’s brilliant to have the opportunity to collaborate with him for my first single, we definitely click creatively.”

Fans of Ora's — who said they hoped the new song means a new album isn't far behind — were elated about the announcement, and shared more than a few exclamatory responses on Twitter.

"I can't explain how happy I am that is finally happening!! You've been working for so long and people finally get to hear it," one wrote, while another noted "FINALLY!!! AFTER 2/3YEARS OF WAITING OH MY GOD IM SO EXCITED."

Ora also released what looks like accompanying cover art — the GIF includes green-yellow text on a marble-pink background.
