The Tyler Parks and Recreation Department originally planned to show the movie Dolphin Tale for free a couple of weeks ago, but was cancelled due to rain, but has now been rescheduled for Friday night at Bergfeld Park in Tyler.

Dolphin Tale will be shown Friday evening at the amphitheater at Bergfeld Park at 8 p.m. This is a free event for the family, so pop your corn, bring your candy, snacks, drinks and maybe a blanket or a lawn chair and enjoy Dolphin Tale!

Dolphin Tale is about a rescued dolphin who had to have its tail fin removed after becoming tangled in a crab trap. The boy who found him becomes attached and believes that the dolphin can survive with a prosthetic tail fin. Dolphin Tale stars Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd, Harry Connick Jr. and Nathan Gamble and is rated PG.
