Over the weekend I took a road trip down to Austin to hang out with two of my girlfriends from high school, and we had a blast catching up and playing Top Golf and arcade games and visiting the Bullock Museum.

I made a playlist to drive down there filled with fun music from Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga to Muse and Garbage. I also included favorites from college like R. Kelley, Nelly and 50 cent. A few high school jams from Smash Mouth, N'Sync and Alanis Morissette also made the list.

On Saturday we ventured out early and went to Top Golf.

Top Golf was so much fun. None of us know much about golf, had never really swung a golf club, but we had a blast. We visited and hit balls for two and a half hours.

After Top Golf we grabbed lunch at Dave and Busters, where we also took advantage of the arcade. I felt like a teenager! It was so much fun. We played skee ball, shot zombies, raced Mario Kart and played air hockey.

Later we took a short tour of the Bullock Museum so that we could check out the Battleship Texas Centennial exhibit that Stephanie helped research and create through Texas Parks and Wildlife.

Sunday we all met up again to have a delicious brunch at the original Kerbey Lane Cafe. One of my favorite things about visiting Austin is all of the incredible local establishments.
