Twilight Fever Returns for Texas Fans with Rare Appearance
Is this a safe space? Am I finally free to admit that I loved Twilight? I feel like I can freely admit it now; I was definitely into Twilight and at one point, I stood in line at midnight to be one of the first ones to purchase a DVD!
No shame. No regrets.
And if you’re reading this thinking, “same,” then you might want to clear your schedule and book a road trip to Austin because a little piece of that era is coming back in a big way.
Twilight Favorites Are Headed to Texas
Two stars from Twilight- Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathbone, aka Alice and Jasper- are making a rare appearance in Austin for a special fan event.
The event, called “An Evening with the Cullens,” is happening at the historic Paramount Theatre and honestly, it’s kind of everything a Twilight fan could want.
We’re talking a full screening of the first movie, a live Q&A to follow and even a meet and greet!
Also, I have a problem with the “spider monkey” part of this flyer- neither Alice nor Jasper say it!

Anyway, prepare to be transported straight back to Forks, Washington, blue filter and all.
Here’s When It’s Happening
Tickets are already on sale and if you remember how intense the fandom was back in the day- yeah, this might feel a little like those midnight release days all over again.
Because there was truly nothing like the Twilight era. The Team Edward vs. Team Jacob debates? Heated.
The dramatic stares? Legendary.
That baseball scene? Cinema.
And somehow, even all these years later, people still know the lines- and probably still cringe at the “spider monkey” part.
It wasn’t just a movie, it was a full-blown moment.
One Star Has Deep Texas Ties
Now, Jackson Rathbone isn’t just stopping by. He actually has roots in Texas, having been raised in Midland and now living in Austin. He’s recently become a burger guy and reviews Texas burger joints.

This is kind of like a homecoming, just with a lot more vampire nostalgia and probably fewer awkward newborn vampire fights.
If you were part of the Twilight wave- even a little- this is your chance to relive it in the most dramatic way possible.
