Big Time Rush are the new Fab Four — for six songs at least — on the soundtrack to their Nickelodeon film ‘Big Time Movie,’ which contains new covers from the boy band of classic Beatles tunes.
Congratulations to Rachel Crow! Everyone’s favorite pint-sized ‘X Factor‘ contestant may not have won the competition (thanks a lot, Nicole Scherzinger!), but she’s doing just fine on her own. Crow snagged a TV pilot with Nickelodeon and a record deal, so get ready to see a lot more of her.
The 2012 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards nominees were announced today. Katy Perry leads the nominations, not only for her music, but also for her voice work in ‘The Smurfs.’ Other nominees include Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez (for her music and her work on ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’), Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber and, appropriately enough, Nickelodeon starlet Miranda Cosgrove.
The cable TV network Nickelodeon has plans for new, late night programming targeted at moms. After months of research, the network has concluded that an untapped audience of busy moms are watching television between the hours of 9 p.m. and 1 a.m.
The Kids' Choice Awards are coming up April 2nd on Nickelodeon and for the younger generation, they'll see Jack Black hosting the show for a 3rd time.
