Texas African American Museum Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser
As we get ready to bring Black History Month to a close, The Texas African American Museum will be hosting a fundraiser this weekend that you need to know about.
The TAAM is calling on the community to come out and participate in the 2nd Annual "Bridging The Gap History Walk" fundraiser happening this Saturday Feb. 27 beginning at 8:00 AM. The walk will begin at the TAAM location at 309 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Tyler.
This fundraiser is in support of The Texas African American Museum and if you want to participate, registration is $25 and participants will receive a T-shirt. Food trucks will be on-site for refreshments and Kiss-FM's Melz On The M-I-C will be there with some freebies and so much more.
Registration lasts from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Saturday but you can pick up pledge forms ahead of time. For information on this event, contact 903-283-6089.
