Food in Texas is important for everyone.

However, not all food is safe from disease at some point. Recently, it was announced that an illness known as Listeria is growing throughout the Lone Star state. This has caused many to keep an eye out for any signs of the sickness.

But while many are doing their best to avoid the condition, other items may not be so lucky. Recently, certain food items in Texas are now no longer safe to eat due to a contamination. The food in question, has ties to the previously mentioned Listeria.

Here's what we know currently about the recall.

It is incredibly important that if you have purchased any of the items listed, or the certain ones shown in the photos of the release, that you do not eat them, and throw them away as soon as possible. At the time of writing, KVUE reports that one individual has lost their life in Texas due to the contamination.
