New Texas Park Pass Gives Free Access to Active Duty and Veterans
Most Texans understand that living in this amazing country comes at a cost, and many people serve this country to protect our freedoms. Those individuals are incredible beyond words and I love the fact that Texas Parks and Wildlife has teams up with Texas State Parks and the Texas Veterans Commission to offer something new to these heroes.
There is a new Military Park Pass that is being issued that you need to know about. This new Military Parklands Passport gives active-duty military members and veterans FREE entry to Texas State Parks. There is no catch, this is just a way for the state of Texas to thank these amazing people who have fought for our country.
Who Is Eligible for This New Texas Military Park Pass?
As mentioned, it’s for active-duty military members, honorably discharged veterans, and any Gold Star family members. This includes anyone who has served in the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and Space Force, also Reserve and National Guard members.
What Documentation Is Needed for the Texas Parklands Passport?
