A year ago this Sunday, July 27th, Kidd Kraddick, the leader of Kidd Kraddick in the Morning, suddenly collapsed and died at a Louisiana golf course while attending a golf tournament for his charity Kidd's Kids. Since his passing, the past year has been a trying year for the remaining four cast members. In spite of the challenges they were faced with, Kellie, Big Al, J-Si and Jenna have coped and seen the ratings for the show soar higher than ever before.

In an exclusive interview with Dallas/Ft. Worth TV station NBC5 in conjunction with the Dallas Morning News' Alan Peppard, the show opens up about losing their mentor, inspiration and backbone of the show. They offer up some really raw feelings about his death, they discuss how they weren't even given the chance to perform as a team because of industry doubters and Kellie talks about her on-air marriage to Kidd among other things.

As we remember the life of Kidd Kraddick this weekend, the cast of the show and Mix 93-1 are asking you to do something nice and pay it forward and share it on your social network outlets and use the hashtag #ForKidd.

Don't pass up the opportunity to read the special report from Dallas Morning News' Alan Peppard called "Not Kidd's Anymore".
