One of my favorite breakfast spots in Chicago is making its way to East Texas and I am truly excited about it. If you're social media you should be following The Original Pancake House -Tyler’ just because of the mouthwatering photos they're sharing in anticipation of their grand opening in February.

The Original Pancake House was founded in Oregon in 1953 by Les Highet and Erma Hueneke who were culinary experts with knowledge of national and ethnic pancake recipes along with unique menu options have gained national attention.  The restaurant is now a second and thrird generation business, but their food and customer service is still the same.

Their menu is loaded with great items to choose from, but there are (2) signature dishes that you must try that will instantly become your favorite.

The Dutch Baby:  "An air filled delight oven baked to golden perfection and served with lemon, whipped butter and powdered sugar to create a mouthwatering blend".

The Apple Pancake: A large pancake covered with sautéed apples and cinnamon sugar with a rich cinnamon sugar glaze.

All of East Texas are raving about the pictures of food leaving them with great anticipation to try them.

The Original Pancake House - Tyler opens late February at 7278 Old Jacksonville Highway.  I guarantee you this will be one of Tyler's best kept secrets.....
