A cave that doesn't have an official name is probably one of the coolest places to visit in the Hill Country of Texas.

Cave Without a Name, as it is appropriately named, is quickly becoming a favorite among tourists, and locals, for it's spectacular formations and all around spectacular atmosphere.

Just about eleven miles northeast of Boerne, in the heart of the scenic, rolling hills of the Texas Hill Country, Cave Without a Name is a natural, living cavern that some are saying is the most beautiful in the Lone Star State.

The Cave is filled with:

spectacular formations of Stalactites, Stalagmites, delicate Soda Straws, Cave Drapery, magnificent Flowstones, Rimstone Dams, and more. Enjoy an approximate 60-minute guided tour of the six major rooms in comfort; 66 degrees year-round, easy walkways, brilliant lighting.

Probably one of the coolest things about the Cave Without a Name is that they can actually host concerts. In what is called the Thorne Room, that area can accommodate up to 200 guests. Imagine the acoustics!

The Cave Without a Name can also be used as a wedding venue.

And at a temperature of 66 degrees year round, The Cave Without a Name looks like a great stop on your visit through the Texas Hill Country, especially in the summer, we all know how brutal a Texas summer can be!
