Train Set To Debut New Song On Biggest Loser

Train have been quite busy this summer - while on the road touring with Maroon 5, Pat Monahan has been busy writing new songs for the band's next album.  Earlier this week it was announced that Train would have a song appearing on the soundtrack to the Taylor Lautner movie Abduction.  I posted a clip of the song earlier in the week for you to check out and now it appears as if Pat and Train are releasing another song Monday.

The new song is called "Brand New Book" and it'll be making it's debut during the premiere of the Biggest Loser on NBC Monday night.  The song will be used in the shows opening credits all season, which will give huge exposure to the band.

According to Billboard,

Pat Monahan was writing extensively over the summer and has about half an album's worth of new songs.

Once they finish this tour with Maroon 5, Train is expected to go into the studio to begin working on a new album, which should be sometime in November.  They'll take a quick break in December to head out on a headlining tour of China and Southeast Asia and then it's back to the studio to finish up in January.
