Geek'd Con, Shreveport's comic con, unfortunately had to miss the 2020 show due to the COVID pandemic restrictions around the state. But the show is back on for 2021! The show's return will be August 13th-15th at the Shreveport Convention Center.

Before the pandemic, Geek'd Con had become one of the biggest pop culture events in the region. With guests like Michael Rooker, LeVar Burton, Elvira, Peter Mayhew, Chris Sarandon, and more.

Now we get to welcome Peter Facinelli to Geek'd Con for 2021!

Best known for his starring roles in the Twilight film series, Fox show Fastlane, and the Showtime show Nurse Jackie, Peter Facinelli has an incredible resume.

In the Twilight series, Peter played Dr. Carlisle Cullen, the head of the Cullen family, and adoptive father of Edward Cullen. He appeared in all 5 of the films in the franchise.

He also starred as Donovan "Van" Ray in Fastlane, and Dr. Fitch "Coop" Cooper in Nurse Jackie. While also having reoccurring roles in Glee, S.W.A.T., and Six Feet Under.

Peter also dipped his toes into the comic book world when he starred as Maxwell Lord in the CBS/CW Supergirl show. He appeared in more than a dozen episodes of the show portraying the enemy-turned-ally of Supergirl.

Many also remember his role in the 1990s "coming of age" comedy movie Can't Hardly Wait, where he starred alongside Seth Green and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
