New Jucy’s Location Set For Hwy 110 In Tyler

(Longview, Texas) Since 1980, people around Longview have been enjoying hand-crafted burgers from a joint called Jucy's Hamburgers.

They've earned a reputation for having one of the best burgers in town. They've been crowned the 'Best Burger in East Texas' for more than 45 years, according to their website.

That reputation has led to the expansion of Jucy's Hamburgers beyond the first family-owned restaurant in Longview to now include 11 locations throughout East Texas and soon to be 12.

Where Will the New Jucy’s Be Located?

According to a posting on the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation website, a filing has been made for the construction of a new Jucy's Hamburger location in South Tyler.

This will mark the 4th Jucy's location in the Rose City, surpassing Longview's three locations.

When Will Construction Begin?

The filing states construction could begin as soon as August 15th on the $1.2 million facility with an anticipated completion date around December 15, 2025.

The new restaurant will be located at 13970 State Highway 110. This new location will be just south of the Grande Blvd. intersection and before Toll 49 on the west side of Hwy 110.

Once complete, the 2,730 square foot facility will be serving up fresh grilled burgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken fried steak, salad, and fries to patrons dining in or using the drive-thru.

Why East Texans Love Jucy’s Hamburgers

This burger, in my opinion, ranks right up there with Whataburger.

I can remember when I first moved to East Texas and looking for a new burger joint, people at the radio station always talked about the Jucy's on Fifth Street in Tyler. After going there, I could understand why.

After you order, you can help yourself to a small bowl of ranch-style beans to enjoy before that big juicy burger gets delivered to your table along with those fresh-cut fries.

I think I know where I'm going for lunch AND dinner tonight.

Jucy’s Growing Footprint in East Texas

Jucy's Hamburgers has come a long way since 1980. They not only have locations in Longview, Tyler, Marshall, Gilmer, Palestine, Carthage, and Henderson, but they also have Jucy's Taco.

If you're looking for great Tex-Mex, you've gotta try Jucy's Taco. (To be clear, I wasn't paid to say that either.)

It took them some time to open a location in Tyler, but they finally did in late 2024 in addition to their three Longview and Marshall locations, and now I find myself eating there several times a month.
