One of the first events I attended when I arrived in East Texas a few months back was the Tyler Parks and Recreation KIngs Of The Court 3-on-3 Tournament which features the best street basketball teams in East Texas competing for bragging rights and more.

Despite COVID, several teams took to the court back in November and got busy and it was a ton of fun! So the Tyler Parks and Recreation Department is doing it again!

The Kings of the Court 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament will give teams the opportunity to play against groups from Tyler and surrounding areas at The Glass Recreation Center. Registration is $100 per team of four. If you do not have a team, you can pay a $35 fee per individual to be placed on a team.

Team check-in will be at 8:30 a.m. and games start at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 22. First and second place prizes will be awarded. Pre-registration is required and that ends on May 14 so get your squad together and get signed up for the big tournament!

For more information or to register, call the Glass Recreation Center at (903) 595-7271, visit www.TylerParksRec.com or the Tyler Parks and Rec Facebook page.
