Uncle Kracker Celebrates Fireworks and Freedom in Longview with Performance
Make plans to attend the annual Fireworks and Freedom celebration in Longview this year with headlining performer, Uncle Kracker.
The Longview News-Journal reports that the entertainer will perform a free concert as part of the annual July 4, celebration. Local band, Dagnabbit will open the show. The concert will be held at the Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Complex.
You probably remember his popular hits like 'Follow Me' and 'Drift Away.' He's also had hits with other artists, like the duet with Kenny Chesney, 'When the Sun Goes Down,' and his crossover hit, 'Smile.'
The event is always a family favorite in Gregg County, with lots of activities for the kids to take part in. Look for rides, bounce houses and other inflatables, a water foam spray area, weenie dog races, motorcycle ride, car show, Family Feud, two entertainment stages, food, beverages and vendors.
The festival and concert are free. Rides and refreshments will vary in price.
