A recently released video has gone viral on social media as it shows a (now former) Jack in the Box employee in Houston pull out a gun a fire at least twice at a customer in the drive-thru.

So what started all of this?

According to ABC 13 in Houston, Anthony Ramos and his family pulled up to the Jack in the Box near the Bush Intercontinental Airport in March of 2021. Ramos ordered a combo meal that was supposed to come with curly fries. When Ramos tells Alonniea Fantasia Ford, the employee, about the missing fries, the argument begins.

Not even halfway into the dispute, the video shows Ford ready a gun. Minutes later and with another employee at the window, she throws ice and condiments, before firing at least twice at the family.

The family filed a lawsuit against the former employee and Jack in the Box in 2022. The former employee was initially charged with aggravated assault but pleaded down to a lesser charge. She spent no time in jail.
