Investing. We hear about this all the time. It's one of those things we know we probably need to do. If you already invest, maybe you wonder if you're making wise decisions. Like it or not, so much of life is helped or hindered by how well we are able to handle our money--that includes knowing how to invest it.

This is one of those things that I always wished they'd taught a class on in high school. Ya know, one of the practical "life things," like cooking, that should just be an integral part of education. Maybe you learned a little bit in college but want a refresher? Either way, this may be just what you're looking for.

The Tyler Public Library is hosting a "Foundations of Investing" class, hosted by Edward Jones' representative, Bryan White, on Thursday, September 26 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on the 3rd Floor of the library, in what they refer to as their "Makerspace."

Like the name suggests, this is just an introduction to the foundational basics. You can learn more on the event Facebook page here.
