Whitehouse alum, Patrick Mahomes, takes on Tom Brady and the New England Patriots tomorrow evening in the AFC Championship with a lot of luck from little Wildcats.

Whitehouse ISD declared Friday as Chiefs Days in celebration of their friend and former quarterback, Mahomes. Mahomes graduated from Whitehouse in 2014. He was a start athlete participating in baseball, basketball and football.

According to Wikipedia, in football he through 50 touchdowns, he had 4,619 passing yards, 948 rushing yards and 15 rushing touchdowns as a senior. He went on to play for Texas Tech where he set NCAA records in his Junior year, before committing to the NFL Draft.

He was selected at the 10th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs. He was named the Chief's starting quarterback this season, and has gone on to set records and lead his team to the AFC Championship. He will face one the greatest quarterbacks of all time in Tom Brady paired with one of the winningest coaches in Bill Belichick.
