It's back to school time!

For a lot of East Texas students, they'll be headed back to class this week. They'll be finding their way to their new classroom to start a new year.

Kindergarteners will be getting to know new kids and teachers.
Elementary school kids will be reuniting with some classmates from last year.
Middle schoolers will be adjusting to a bell schedule and changing classrooms.
High schoolers will be negotiating with counselors to get a schedule change to be with their friends.

The first day of school also marks a ritual for many students and parents - the first day of school picture. That picture represents so much, not just their first day of school, but growing up and changing as they start a new year every year. Moms and dads all over East Texas will be taking those innocent pictures with hand held signs marking what grade their going into.
