Alexandra Capotorto in the business of writing pop culture-y stuff for two reasons: Britney Spears and Johnny Depp, one to befriend, the other to reproduce with. Figure that out yourselves. Her friends have dubbed her their official "Walking Encyclopedia of Celebrity Knowledge," which she thrives on and abuses to not-so-subconsciously inflate her own ego. Her only regret in life is not getting to E! before Giuliana Rancic and Chelsea Handler, because the latter essentially stole her identity - but they're cool now. Kind of. She's convinced that she could simultaneously win 'The Voice' and an Academy Award in a one year time period, given her fantastic shower-singing and ability to over-dramatize everything, but she'll settle for being a writer. Key word being "settle." She's sarcastic and witty, and takes nothing and no one seriously. She recites lines from movies mid-conversation much to the dismay of her "friends" - but at least she gives them someone to talk about afterward. Most importantly, she holds a B.A. in Print Journalism from Quinnipiac University, but only because her parents forced her to go. She would've preferred slumming it in Beverly Hills as Britney Spears' assistant/BFF.

Watch ‘The Voice’ Coaches Gossip Backstage
With 'The Voice' in the midst of its second week of blind auditions, lots of news about the show and its coaches have started to float about the interweb like its nobody's business. Kanye West to Spend $1 Million on Kim Kardashian’s Birthday Party
We are still shakin' our heads over Kanye West and Kim Kardashian as a couple. Then again, considering both of their egos are the size of the Milky Way (the galaxy, not the candy bar) it makes sense that they're together. But for Kanye to spend $1 million on Kim's 32nd birthday party -- hello, it's not even a milestone! -- is a little ludicrous.

Pink's upcoming album 'The Truth About Love' is set to hit shelves today (Sept. 18), and while the singer hasn't strayed for her personal formula of catchy song titles and addictive choruses, there are a few hits (and misses) from her past that she loves to talk about.
Madonna Disses Lady Gaga + Issues a Stalker Threat All at Once
Madonna is doing her best to stay relevant, and this time around, it's coming in the form of knocking Lady Gaga down a few pegs. You know, since that won't make her look old or bitter or angry at all.
Will.i.am to Launch Talent Show for ‘Wizards’
Will.i.am is straying from the typical reality show formula that we've come to know, love, and eventually tire of. Instead of using his talents to create a singing or music-based competition show, he's planning to develop a technology-based competition show where geniuses will come to compete! Don't let the 'wizards' part fool you. Harry Potter wannabes need not apply.

Tonight (Sept. 17) marks the beginning of week two of the blind auditions for 'The Voice!' And while we're always ready to welcome back Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine into our living rooms on a daily basis (our bedroom more specifically for Levine), we've set the bar pretty low after last week's just so-so talent. Though there were a few standouts like Trevin Hunte
Are ‘American Idol’ Judges Nicki Minaj + Mariah Carey Already Feuding?

A week ago, word got out that our darling Miley Cyrus got into a bit of a brawl at Hollywood nightclub Beacher’s Madhouse at the Roosevelt Hotel. But a week later, Cyrus' good name has been cleared and the Disney gods are a-singing.
Dianna Agron Reportedly Leaving ‘Glee’
Last week's Season 4 premiere of 'Glee' had a few missing faces. Perhaps most noticeably absent was Dianna Agron, who plays -- er, played Quinn Fabray, everyone's favorite pregnant high school cheerleader who involuntarily becomes a PSA for texting and driving.
Johnny Maxwell ‘Did It Big In Front of All These People’ on ‘X Factor’
The second night of the season premiere of 'X Factor' rightfully started off with a high note. With less of an introduction to the show than the night prior, 'X Factor' got right down to it when it came to the auditions.
Viewers were quick to be introduced to 16-year-old Johnny Maxwell. He pulled up in a truck with his mom and was dressed how any cute young man with a sense of style would: t-shirt
Reed Deming Sails Through ‘X Factor’ Auditions With Bruno Mars’ ‘Grenade’
The season premiere of 'X Factor' is pretty deep into the first hour, and we've only seen one person get four consecutive yes's to make it to the next round. So will 13-year-old Reed Deming be the next to get a "yes?"
