Harrison County Sheriff’s Department has arrested the woman wanted in connection with performing illegal breast augmentations inside her Tyler beauty salon.

According to a release from Tyler Police Department public information officer Don Martin, Carmel Foster-Alexander was arrested in Harrison County today.

The Marshall Police Department received a tip on Foster-Alexander’s location, and the sheriff’s department joined the police department to find and arrest the accused.

Investigators say Foster-Alexander injected at least four victims with some kind of substance to augment their breasts, and one person, Sheena Bradford of Longview, was admitted to a hospital in critical condition.

Martin’s release says the investigation is ongoing, and FDA criminal investigators have obtained samples of the liquid gel that was injected into the victims for testing.
