Meet the 2015 East Texas Kidd’s Kids Going to Disney World
This year's Kidd's Kids trip is departing for Disney World in Florida on Thursday, Nov. 19 with four very special kids from East Texas!
These four special kids range in ages from 5 to 10 and come from Kilgore, Whitehouse, Lindale and Rusk and they're all in for a very memorable time of their life.
These kids were nominated for the Kidd's Kids trip and selected from hundreds of applicants and are among the fifty families from around the U.S. going on the trip this year.
The trip is 100 percent funded by the very generous listeners of The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show and all of their expenses will be covered thanks to these donations. These families will have their lodging, food, park passes, souvenirs and more covered thanks to the donations.
The families from East Texas will be departing with other families from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area on Thursday, Nov. 19 from a special Southwest Airlines hangar at Love Field.
Southwest Airlines charters a special flight aboard the Kidd's Kids plane from Love Field to Orlando. Before boarding the plane the kids are treated to a red carpet walk up to the plane after starting the morning off with a huge party in the hangar!
There will be food, music, games, characters and more. Mix 93-1's Lucky Larry and Mandee Montana will be on site to see these four special families and others off on this trip of a lifetime!
