We knew this would be too much diva for one reality competition show panel.
For all its massive success in recent years, AMC is still somewhat in its infancy when it comes to original programming. And for every runaway hit like 'Breaking Bad,' 'Mad Men' and 'The Walking Dead,' there's a few missteps like 'The Killing,' or even recent forays into reality TV with unique efforts like 'Small Town Security.' But if you're going to emulate the major networks, might as well go for the big guns, right? So let's see if 'Road Show,' AMC's first reality competiton can bring the heat!
The next season of the waning talent search show ‘American Idol’ began taping on Sunday, and after working their way down a long list of possible judges, the producers ended up with a panel that seems to include one too many divas -- and we can only hope the fireworks make it to air.
It was obvious from the very beginning that Colton Dixon was a frontrunner of the most recent season of American Idol. When he was shockingly eliminated and set to seventh place in the competition, Idol audiences everywhere were stunned and heartbroken. Well he took what he was given and it seems as though things are working out in his favor.
No matter what their official title is, a coach, a judge or a mentor, how much are the celebrities really making to sit on the panel and crush the dreams and make the dreams of potential singers happen?
If you ask Mariah Carey, two divas can fit on one panel, thank you very much. The multi-octave legend has dismissed rumors of a beef with fellow newly minted 'American Idol' judge Nicki Minaj as nothing more than nonsense.
Now that it has been officially announced that Nicki Minaj will be joining 'American Idol' as its newest judge, we thought talk about the singing reality show would die down a bit. But boy, were we so wrong.
It's cool, dawg. Randy Jackson is back as an 'American Idol' judge!
Reigning American Idol champion, Phillip Phillips paid a visit to the set of Live! With Kelly and Michael yesterday morning. While talking with Kelly and Michael, Phillip admitted to not really watching much of the 2012 Olympic games from London, especially women's gymnastics instead he caught a little bit of volleyball. Which is a little odd because NBC used his song Home to promote the Olympics and women's gymnastics and that led to Michael Strahan poking fun at Phillips!
American Idol will be all-new,it seems, this year. Well, new in that the judges will all be new. According to TMZ, Randy Jackson has become the latest judge to leave the “American Idol” lineup. The singer/record producer was the last remaining member of the show’s original panel of judges after launching the first season with Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul in 2002.
Well isn’t this just a golden nugget of a celebrity news story? There’s a rumor floating around that Kanye West might be the newest judge on ‘American Idol‘ — and now, he’s gained the support of everybody’s favorite momager Kris Jenner, mom to the Kardashian klan.
