It is a sad fact that we are slowing losing all of our arcades here in Tyler. I have great memories from the arcades of my childhood. I had a few favorites, but I loved playing all of the games. So in memory of our lost arcades, I have put together a list of the top 20 arcade games from our childhood. Plus, the Townsquare Media DJs listed there top 3 favorites. Lets take a trip down memory lane.

New stats say Saturday evening at 6pm is the most common time to lose things.

Perhaps when the beverages start flowing, we become more forgetful than usual. What other things to we typically lose on a Saturday night?

Why All the Static, Mix 93-1?

The Mix 93-1 engineer has had a long night and is still working! I understand it is hard to listen to and pick up Mix 93-1 over the air this morning. The reason is there is a problem with our main and backup transmitters so we are broadcasting from an alternate tower site that doesn't quite have the reach and coverage as our normal main transmitter.

You can still listen to Mix 93-1 online and on your smartphone and not miss a single minute of Kidd Kraddick in the Morning or Today's Best Mix after 10 a.m.
