
Amber Alert Issued For 11 And 14-Year-Old Missing Henderson County Girls

UPDATE -
It is great to report that the Amber Alert that was issued for two missing girls from Athens has been cancelled. The Henderson County Sheriff's Office reports that the girls have been safely located in Smith County. According to a post on the Henderson County Sheriff's Office's Facebook page, the investigation continues into the girls' disappearance.
Many different law enforcement agencies across East Texas and concerned citizens came to the aid of the Henderson County Sheriff's Office to search for these two missing girls.

Cell phones throughout East Texas went off with that all-to-familiar beeping sound alerting us that authorities somewhere in Texas are looking for a missing child or children. The Texas Amber Alert hit phones in East Texas Thursday evening. This Amber Alert was issued for two missing girls from Athens, Texas.
Thursday evening the Henderson County Sheriff's Office issued an Amber Alert for missing 11-year-old Bonnie Webb and 14-year-old Willow Webb. According to the issued Amber Alert, the pre-teen and teenager was last seen around 4:15 p.m. in the Athens area off of County Road 1408 on the city's west side.
The Henderson County Sheriff's Office believes the two girls are in immediate or grave danger. No other information was been released when the Amber Alert was issued.
