Support Downtown Tyler: Andy’s Frozen Custard Sale Thursday
(Tyler, Texas) Take a drive through downtown Tyler, and there is one thing you'll notice at least three blocks away in any direction - CONSTRUCTION!
Downtown Tyler Construction Everywhere
Construction signs are everywhere. Roads are closed. Complete roads and sidewalks are missing in some cases. All because of the Downtown Improvement Project. Plus, parking is a mess too, but at least there are a couple of parking garages available.

What’s Changing in the Heart of Tyler
In a couple of years, downtown Tyler will look completely different thanks to the new Smith County Courthouse, square, and green space. Tylerites will be spending more time downtown once the project is complete, but right now, that is a different story.
Local Businesses Feeling the Impact
Downtown Tyler businesses are struggling right now because of all the construction. Unfortunately, some of them have had to close because of the lack of foot traffic through their doors.
