Bogie Has Been Waiting To Be Adopted For More Than 2 Years

It's been a long journey for Bogie. He's been patiently waiting to be adopted from Pets Fur People in Tyler, Texas. He has seen many dogs come and go and yet he still doesn't have his own backyard to call his own.

We have featured Bogie as our pet of the week a couple of times now and we're still looking for someone to step up and make that commitment and give Bogie a loving home has previously been featured as our Pet Of The Week and he's still waiting to be adopted.

Bogie is a really smart dog who knows several commands. He is very friendly and loves to run. He will also need at least a six-foot privacy-type fence to keep him in his yard.

Bogie is about nine and a half years old and he is ready to give lots of love to his adopted family. He's got a beautiful coat with some piercing eyes. Gayle Helms, executive director of Pets Fur People says, "Bogie would thrive as a member of an active family especially if there is another dog in the family." He apparently has a pretty soft side too because he's also described as laid back and a real sweetheart.

Bogie has been neutered, is currently starting vaccinations including rabies, and has been microchipped for identification purposes. He will go home with a starter kit of food, a collar and leash and a certificate for half-price basic obedience training from Tyler Obedience Training Club.

Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.
