If you want to add a little custom look to your vehicle and stand out from others, maybe a new license plate is in order. Did you know that there are over 450 license plate designs that Texans can choose from? And for 2024, that number has grown.

According to MyPlates on Facebook, Texas is now offering 4 brand new designs in 2024. Three of the new designs are part of a new category called "Premium Embossed Plates".

The Premium Embossed Plates come in 3 designs. Black and Gold, Black and Yellow, and Blue and Gold. On Facebook some complained that the black and gold plates reminded them of older California plates. To me, they look pretty good. If I were a Steelers fan, I'd probably love them.

Earlier this week, another new plate design was released called the Brushed Metal Grill.

All of these plate designs cost extra money and what you put on the design, like a custom phrase, is subject to being rejected. But it gives you more creative control over your vehicle and you can personalize it a bit.
