Chinese Lantern Festival Underway At Dallas Fair Park [PHOTOS]
Still feeling the Christmas Spirit? You still have time to experience the festive atmosphere of the Chinese Lantern Festival at Dallas Fair Park.
Now through January 5th, you can experience brilliant, glowing, works of art that make up 25 stunning displays of color. See Stained glass in 3-D, and each lantern is comprised of hundreds of thousands individual pieces.
Don't miss the Imperial Dragon Boat, spanning 120 feet, you see every angle while it's on land, or purchase a ticket to board the ship for unique views in the middle of the lagoon.
You'll also see the Porcelain Pagoda inspired by a Buddhist Temple in China. The structure reaches 53 feet high and is made up of 68,000 pieces of porcelain dishware and hand-tied using traditional techniques.
Make plans to also experience the Acrobat Show at 6:30 and 8:00 p.m. which includes an illusion from Chinese Opera.
