Early Voting for City Council Starts Monday

Early voting for the City Council runoff race starts Monday. The race is for District 3 seat, according to TylerPaper.com. The two candidates are Shirley McKellar and Pamela Phoenix. They are vying to represent the neighborhoods near John Tyler High School, the Caldwell Zoo and Woldert Park, according to the Tyler Morning Telegraph. Early voting will be from 8 am to 5 pm, starting Monday and running through June 21 at The Hub, located at 304 E. Ferguson St. On June 24 and 25, the polls will be open from 7 am to 7 pm.
