East Texans Believe In Kidd’s Kids + Show Their Support

When it comes to children and raising money, East Texans show their hearts and love for kids!

This past Tuesday (October 9th), The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show hosted a very special day called Kidd's Kids Day. On this special day, the morning show set out with a goal to raise enough money to send a group of kids that have a life altering or life threatening condition on a trip of a lifetime to Walt Disney World in Florida along with their immediate family and to raise enough money so that none of these families would have to pay for anything. In other words, KiddNation is paying their way for a memorable trip of a lifetime!

When the call was put out there KiddNation members from all across East Texas answered that call by donating their dollars to this trip. Donations were called in to the toll free number, they gave online, donated via text or stopped by one of the many donation locations throughout East Texas and dropped off what they could. Mix 93-1 was set up at Tyler and Longview area Chick-fil-A locations during morning rush and was at Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers in Tyler and Longview during the rush and collected more than $2600 during its seven hours of live broadcasting and when combined with other local affiliates and other donations, KiddNation raised over $200,000 for this years Kidd's Kids trip!
