You've got to meet Rowdy. He is a seven month old Australian cattle dog or red heeler. Rowdy is available for adoption at the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People in Tyler.

He weighs about 30 pounds, and has a stocky build. Rowdy has been neutered. He is current on starting vaccinations including rabies and has been micro-chipped for identification purposes.

Australian cattle dogs are high energy working dogs and do best in a country setting. This breed is highly devoted to their family. For additional information on adopting Rowdy call 903-597-2471 or check the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website – petsfurpeople.org.

Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 am until 5 pm - closed for lunch 1-2 pm. The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is a selective admission no kill animal sanctuary. They offer dog boarding and routine vaccinations except for rabies to the public for dogs and cats.
