Give Remi The Ultimate Christmas Present – A Loving Home To Call Her Own

Receiving the gift of a fur-ever home is the dream for any dog living in a shelter and receiving that gift at Christmas time would be extra special to the many dogs in East Texas shelters. It is a life-long commitment that takes dedication on your part when you become a 'pet parent'!
Remi is hoping that a kind and loving East Texas family will adopt her just in time for Christmas. She is currently available for adoption at The Humane Society's Pets Fur People in Tyler, Texas.
When it comes to an all-around good-natured dog, this 75-pound retriever Labrador hound mix would fit in nicely with any active, or semi-active, lifestyle. Remi loves the companionship of other dogs and plays well with them. Gayle Helms, Pets Fur People's executive director says Remi is also good around children of all ages.
With it being said that Remi would fit in with an active family, she also wouldn't mind just vegging out and being a couch potato and staring at the lights on the Christmas tree. Remi is also house-trained as well as crate trained and loves to cuddle.
Remi will go home with a starter kit of food, a collar and leash and a certificate for half-price basic obedience training from Tyler Obedience Training Club.
