“Triple D” Worthy: East Texas Restaurants Worth The Trip

Without a doubt one of my guilty pleasure shows on Food Network is Guy Fieri's 'Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives'.

The show is amazing because it shows off some of the best food that local chefs and restaurant owners are creating for their customers and community. Oftentimes the dishes just can't be recreated anyplace else because they're just so special.

While watching the show I just want to jump in my truck and head off to whatever location they're featuring to try some of the amazing cuisine that is being created in these local joints.

The 'Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives' cameras have been all over Texas.  When you look at the list of fabulous restaurants he's visited, Guy has hit up the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston quite often, and now I'm thinking it's about time he pays East Texas a visit along with the DDD cameras!

Yeah Guy Fieri, We Want You To Come To East Texas Too

There are many worthy local restaurants all over East Texas that are deserving of the 'Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives' cameras. I took to social media to ask which restaurants Guy Fieri should feature on the show and there was no shortage of responses.

I've had the opportunity to visit a few of Guy's Triple D restaurants. While on vacation to Yellowstone National Park we found a cool restaurant/bar in Jackson, Wyoming that had been featured on the show. Since then, I've visited a couple of places in Austin and the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex too.

OK, GUY FIERI - East Texans would love to see you and the camera crew visit these East Texas Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.
