With the Azalea & Spring Flower Trails right around the corner, it's time for a little spring-cleaning in Downtown Tyler. Each year on the Saturday before the Azalea Trails kick off, the Heart of Tyler invites volunteers to come out and help tidy up tomorrow morning at 9:30 a.m.

Volunteers are asked to bring gloves, shovels, rakes and of course elbow grease and meet in front of Gallery Main Street where they will be assigned work areas to pick up trash, pull weeds, plant flowers and help downtown shine.

“When we get a lot of volunteers at this event, it doesn’t take much time to accomplish our mission,” said Heart of Tyler President Bill Newburn. “Our downtown is the center of many activities, and we want to help make it look its best for visitors and residents alike.”
