Inflation Is Crippling Americans at the Checkout Line.

It’s no secret that groceries are at an all-time high right now. All of a sudden we find ourselves saying out loud "There is food at the house" to make sure we drive past the fast food joints that are selling "value meals" for $15 a pop.

Do you remember when we could afford to leave the house without wincing? Look at us scaling back on some of our favorite dinner spots because prices everywhere are shooting up. We aren't just scaling back when it comes to grocery shopping, we are cutting back just about anywhere we can, and sometimes we may think we are saving big, but we aren't.

Most of the Time When You Think of Saving, a Dollar Store Comes to Mind.

Remember when everything used to be 99 cents? Those days are long gone and although we may feel like we are saving big when we go to a dollar store we could be spending more in the long run. From batteries to toilet paper it isn't necessarily a win when it comes to buying inexpensive. You're buying something at a low price because it's cheap.

It Comes Down to Cheap Products and Wrong Labeling.

Unfortunately, discount chains have been known to mess up labels on products before, which means you might not be getting the SPF that you’re looking for when you're picking out sunscreen. Most of the electronic accessories are cheaply made and have thinner wires than the more expensive versions. That means that some of the cords are easy to overload which could lead to damage or a fire.
