While I was scrolling on Facebook the other day I stumbled upon a hilarious Facebook event page created by “Good Ole Dad Jokes” page. The event invite was for what could be the most hilarious Christmas party of the year, Walmart Self-Checkout Employees AKA all of us who are forced to use the self-checkout lane at Walmart!

Literally, anyone who's braved the world of Walmart self-checkout in 2023 is invited to join this virtual Walmart Self-Checkout Employee Christmas party that’s going down on Facebook Live because, let's face it, where else would a self-checkout shindig take place? 

According to the event page, it will take place on Saturday, December 9th from 7 pm - 10 pm and over 67,000 people have already RSVP’d. What can you expect from this hilarious event? Who knows, but that’s the best part.

You’ll meet complete strangers and probably reminisce about scanning mishaps, how much we hate having to show our receipt before we exit Walmart, that one time we forgot to scan that pack of gum, or that one time the machine refused to accept your perfectly crumpled dollar bill. (I HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENS!)

Sometimes the internet can be a really really mean world, but when it comes to hilarious stuff like this Walmart Self-Checkout Employee Christmas Party, I’m reminded that the internet can also be a funny place!
