Ms. Caldwell Of Winona Elementary Is The Mix 93-1 Teacher Of The Week

East Texas teachers rarely brag about themselves. They rarely even pat themselves on the back for the tremendous job that they are doing with our students.

East Texas teachers are hard-working, caring, dedicated educators who will do just about anything it takes to see their students succeed, not only in the classroom but in extra-curricular activities, relationships, and once they enter the workforce.

Often these outstanding teachers go unrecognized, but thanks to your nominations, Mix 93-1 and White Oak ISD are shining a spotlight on these deserving teachers by naming them the Mix 93-1 Teacher Of The Week.

This Week's Mix 93-1 Teacher of the Week is:

Ms. Caldwell at Winona Elementary

Ms. Caldwell is a 4th-grade ELAR teacher at Winona Elementary. She was nominated by a peer who had this to say about her:

She truly cares for each and every one of her students and they love her! She’s been teaching for 22 years and still makes sure that she makes lessons that the kids will have fun doing and she spends so much time preparing activities and lessons for them. I don’t think she ever leaves the school before 7 p.m. and that’s even a little early for her!

Just like teachers constantly watch over the classroom to see what their students are doing, other teachers also watch them to see how they perform with their students. It's because of this, that Ms. Caldwell's name was submitted.
