Jake The Blue Heeler Is Ready To Bring Joy To Your Family
The Humane Society's Pets Fur People in Tyler has an extremely good-looking working dog available for adoption right now that will just fit right into your active family or your working ranch.
Jake has been at the shelter for less than a month and he's eager to find his fur-ever family.
Jake is two and a half years old Blue Heeler. His breed is better known as the cattle dog because of his instinctive herding abilities. So if you've got a family with several kids and you're trying to round them all up, Jake could be your boy to do it! Now if he can't wrangle all of them up at once, he'll at least get a workout and work hard doing it because we know when it comes to dogs and kids - it's all about playtime.
Speaking of playtime, Jake has a lot of energy to burn and he'll bring a lot of fun to the family. Jake is a medium-sized dog and weighs about forty pounds and loves the companionship of other dogs and is very friendly, according to Pets Fur People executive director Gayle Helms.
Jake will go home with a starter kit of food, a collar and leash, and a certificate for half-price basic obedience training from Tyler Obedience Training Club.
