'The Great Gatsby' will likely be one of the biggest movies of the year, given the buzz and the fact that it's a colorful update on a famed, beloved literary tale. There's also the amazing, Jay-Z-curated and produced soundtrack, featuring his wife Beyonce, Florence and the Machine, "It" Brit Emeli Sande and more.

The premiere was last night (May 1), and some of the musical people surrounding the film were there, like the Hova himself, Flo and Em.

They had to support their efforts, right?

The Hova looked dapper and dashing in his Tom Ford suit.

Check out the rapper's averted stare. He knows he done good with the soundtrack, which is buzzing as hard as the film itself.

Florence Welch donned a midnight blue Miu Miu dress with a tie and a slit, indulging her masculine and feminine sides. She's a quirky dresser!

Sande, who covers Beyonce's 'Crazy in Love' in roaring '20s, Jazz Age-style, looked sexy in a black lace frock with strappy heels. We love her badonkadonk, too.

Sande's voice is gorgeous but her smile also lights up a room. Or a red carpet.

Lastly, actress Carey Mulligan, who plays Daisy, the film's female lead, revealed that she would be nervous to meet Jay-Z, since "he's like this huge genius." She even joked that she'd fist bump him upon meeting the rapper. She also admitted she loves the Florence + the Machine track from the soundtrack.

The film and the soundtrack are both primed to be hits.
