Lorde Releases Video For ‘Team’ + Crashes YouTube

Scrolling through my Facebook feed this afternoon, I come across a post from Lorde describing her latest video for 'Team.' Excited for more Lorde music, I click through to her YouTube feed to watch it only to receive this message:

Frustrated I return to her Facebook post and begin reading the posts, where it appears that due to high demand for the video it has crashed.

While we all wait for the video to be repaired, we'll just have to be satisfied with Lorde's description:

this video was borne from a dream i had a few months ago about teenagers in their own world, a world with hierarchies and initiations, where the boy who was second in command had acne on his face, and so did the girl who was queen. i dreamt about this world being so different to anything anyone had ever seen, a dark world full of tropical plants and ruins and sweat. and of this world, i dreamt about tests that didn't need to be passed in order to be allowed in: sometimes the person who loses is stronger. enjoy xx
